Why This Purchase is Critical • Outgrown Current Facilities: The District currently operates across 3 properties in Rocky Point and Shoreham. Unfortunately, none of these sites can be expanded upon to meet our growing needs.
• Rising Emergency Demands: Requirements for local medical and fire community services have grown significantly over the years. We urgently need safe, secure storage for our modern ambulances, fire engines, and rescue vehicles.
• Protecting Taxpayer Investments: Emergency vehicles and gear are highly specialized and expensive. Housing them safely out of the elements ensures they remain reliable and last longer.
